This is actually based on a true story. I wasn't there for when it happened but I saw the aftermath and heard the story later.
The premiered at the Big Apple Film Festival in 2014. When they first played it and it ended the theater was dead quiet, which made me feel very nervous. The fear of people not getting it or not liking it really made my stomach turned but after all the credits the unexpected happened; people began clapping and cheering. I guess they were shocked at first and when the shock was over, they realized they liked it.
