Nicholas Snow: Taking Your Shot

A Young Man with an older voice, this up and coming actor plays George in "A Mother's Love," and older man on a date. With just his voice he brings to life to this older character with complete ease.

Tell us a little about yourself and your background.

My name is Nicholas Snow and I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. In

my free time I like to make Youtube, play darts, and do nature photography.

Can you describe what influenced you to pursue a career as an

actor?

My friends and family influenced me to pursue a career as an actor

because they said I had a nice voice. Also going to a college for

telecommunications gave me an insight to behind operations of

voice work.

What kind of roles do you think you are best suited for?

I think I am best suited for roles that portray older males as I have

a deeper sounding voice.

What kind of roles would you love to play in the future?

I am open to any kind of role in the future, anything to get my name

out there.

How do you rehearse a scene if the other actors you need to

interact with in the scene are not available?

If other actors are not available to rehearse a scene then I will have

a friend fill in where needed to have the proper feel of the scene.

Where do you go to practice loud vocal exercises?

I practice loud vocal exercises in different locations but mainly at

Ball State University in the recording studios.

What steps do you take to fully understand the importance of your

character to the story?

To fully understand the importance of my character I will block out

time throughout the day to read over my lines and act as though I

am truly the character going through the described emotions.

Who do you consider to be your acting role model whose career

you would like to emulate, and why?

I would say my acting role model would Noble Son because he has

a great approach when it comes to voice acting.

What is the first thing you do to research and approach a role?

The first I do to research and approach a role is find other previous

with similar emotions and see how other voice actors approached

that role.

What is your favorite project that you have worked on and why

(except this one of course LOL)?

My favorite project I have worked on was a project for school

where we had to voice act being trapped in a sinking submarine.

Describe your most challenging role to date.

The most challenging role to date for me was the sinking

submarine role because you had to sound destressed knowing

there is nothing you can do to prevent the sinking.

Favorite inspirational quote?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”

What kind of movies are your favorite?

My favorite kind of movies are physiological thrillers

What would be your advice be for someone who wants to become

an actor?

My advice for someone who wants to become an actor would

relate to my inspirational quote because you don’t know what it is

like until you give it a try. I would also stress the importance of

getting your foot in the door by acting in any role possible to get

your name out there.

What are you working on now?

I am currently helping my friends with projects they have in the

works.

Where can people see your other work?

My other work will be posted to my Youtube in the future

Where can people find you online?

You can find me on my Youtube or my Instagram
