Patrick Cramer stars in our new film, "Hunter."
Tell us a little about yourself and your background.
I am an Electrical Engineer that works in the chip design industry. I enjoy my work in this field but I have always enjoyed exploring myself in the fine arts. This has ranged from play acting and on-screen adventures to improv and most recently voice overs.
Can you describe what influenced you to pursue a career as an actor?
I enjoy making people laugh. I enjoy finding ways to enjoy the moment and escape to another place and become a fictional character.
What kind of roles would you love to play in the future?
I am enjoying my time with doing voice overs. This industry has become very flexibly in how more recordings can be done remotely. Although I also look forward to the opportunity to experience time in a studio setting.
What is your favorite horror movie?
The movie that had the largest impact in my love for horror films was the original Halloween staring Jamie Lee Curtis. This movie made me uncomfortable being in a dark room even watching the film. One of the very first horror films I remember watching is also a classic for me. The name is Trilogy of Terror. All three stories are suspenseful but my favorite is the third of the trilogy featuring the Zuni Fetish Doll. I could not be in a dark room with my sister’s dolls after that one.
Which werewolf movie do you think is the best?
Showing my age again, I think my favorite is An American Werewolf in London.
What was your favorite role to play?
I have really enjoyed my time with Four Sides of Cross and my latest character Peter was exceptionally fun to create.
What would be your advice for someone who wants to become an actor?
Acting is a craft that takes time and practice. Training is extremely important to give you a base from which to use your naturel talent to advance your craft.
What are you working on now?
I am still looking for my next adventure. I am already missing my time working on a new project.
Where can people see your other work?
Honestly I am still in the early stages of building my voice over resume. You can see my roles on my IMDB page but there is still much work to do.
